The cat we had while I was growing up was called Tabitha Jane, but normally we'd just call her "Tabby". Her full name would be used (in a stern manner) when she was being naughty.
It's been a long time since she moved to the great sunbeam in the sky... this is an old photo that we found the other day when unpacking boxes. The photo has "Mar 86" printed on the back which sounds about right - we moved out of that house in 1989.
