My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I surprised her by not saying "I don't know."
I said I wanted to go to Orana Park which is a wildlife park not far from our airport.
The main reason I wanted to go there was to visit the big cats (tigers, lions and cheetahs) but it does make a nice day trip as we check out all the wildlife.
She added a nice extra by getting us tickets to the lion feeding encounter where you can join the keepers in the back of the truck as they drive through the lion enclosure to feed the lions.
